This was our fifth visit to Mains of Taymouth and it will be our last. We stayed in the Bothy .Our previous stay 3 years ago was also in the Bothy We love the area .It is beautiful.The accommodation is a different story The Bothy needs a deep, deep clean.It is tired,but more worryingly dirty . The settee, cushions on the bed and sofa are dirty.The rug is filthy .The cleanliness is shocking . A real shame as it is a lively area to visit.We first stayed at Mains of Taymouth 20 years ago in the Bell Tower and it was spotless No comparison at all these days. WiFi was also very poor .Tiny Tv by modern day standards .The oven in the property is incredibly slow and needs replacement .Shower , bathroom needs a massive update , as well as a clean. I would not contemplate staying in Mains of Taymouth again.

This is convenient location. Our room is Small kitchen + 2 bed rooms. Please remember to bring your own personal hygiene products. All drinks kind ( e.g. coffee, tea…etc.) need to prepared by self.

I was pleasantly surprised with everything at this hotel. The dinner was one of the best meals of my trip. The free breakfast was amazing. The room was super clean with added little thoughtful touches like a toothbrush! Which I forgot to bring. It was a short ride from the airport to a very peaceful area. Very sweet staff! Loved it!

The hotel is across Christchurch. It is near bus stops very convenient location for travelers

Um hotel para mochileiros. é na verdade um quarto muito antigo e um apartamento muito antigo também. O quarto é bem grande, cabem umas 6 pessoas. N?o tem servi?o de hotel completo e o café da manha é um voucher para um restaurante que fica uns 5 minutos de distancia.

Sono stata ospite di questo Hotel a giugno durante un viaggio di lavoro. Ho trovato una camera molto pulita e curata e soprattutto confortevole. Unico piccolo problema la difficoltà a collegarsi in internet con il mio pc aziendale dalla camera . Buono anche il ristorante. La proprietaria segue i suoi ospiti con efficienza e cortesia Ci tornerò sicuramente nel mio prossimo viaggio di lavoro
