I stayed at this boutique hotel in Ambalagoda to start my three-week Sri Lanka round trip, and it was a great choice. The hotel is beautiful, with a nice pool and a lovely beachfront location — perfect for getting into holiday mode. The room was spacious and comfortable, with both a shower and a bathtub, plus a terrace with a great view of palm trees and the ocean. The hotel was recommended and booked by my travel organizer, NoLimitTour Randombe, and it turned out to be spot on. I also used the hotel as a base to explore the surrounding area, which worked very well. And if you don’t feel like eating at the hotel, there are plenty of good options nearby. A really nice place to arrive, relax, and start a trip through Sri Lanka.
