Every now and again, you come across in life, some exceptional people who restore your faith in human nature. I cannot praise too highly the care and attention that Corina has afforded me during my stays here and for that reason alone, I am delighted to stay here over and over again. Admirably supported by Rasel. I have invariably found the staff here approachable, efficient and attentive to detail. The rooms are clean comfortable and light. The recent refurbishment has also transformed the dining and drinking area into a comfortable and relaxing environment with great internet access, such that I was able to carry out a working lunch over a Zoom call. In addition, the bar now stays open to 1am, ideal for a nightcap before retiring to my room. The location is perfect for me as it is within easy walking distance of Prince Regent DLR station. I do hope that the management will find itself in a position to congratulate its staff on a job well done.

We enjoyed our Sunday lunch at this stylish old pub, which has a smart dining area heated by a log fire. The starters (satay chicken & salad; spicy parsnip soup & onion bhaji & sourdough) were tasty and filling, and the roasts (one beef, one chicken, with all the trimmings) could not be faulted in terms of quality or quantity. Freshly-made horseradish sauce was a nice surprise. ￡25 per head for two courses, which is good value for the Oxford area. Easy parking and in a good area for country walks.

On arrival, we found that we had selected the wrong dates. Tom on the reception desk was magnificent. He helped us and rebooked for the night that we actually had requested I'm disabled. And we were shown to a universal disability room. There were no towels in the room. When we spoke to Tom, he went himself and got them for us. I can only say this hotel was very, very helpful with everything that we needed. I would definitely return.

Didn’t stay at the hotel but went to the spa. Got a hammam, massage, and facial. Was an incredible experience! The staff are wonderful. Wish we could go back!
