We stayed for 3 days in late April. Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted and given excellent advice as to how to get around, where to eat and what to see. The room was decorated in keeping with the age of the buildings in the neighborhood- classic and classy. The primary advantage of this place is its location.A few minutes walk from the Acadamia and David. Ten to fifteen minutes walk to the Duomo. Twenty minutes to Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio and dozens of sights along the way. Very good restaurants close by, 5-10 minutes. The first day we walked from the train station, and when we left taxied to the station. I recommend taking the taxi! We would definitely stay here again.
